Board of Trustee Meeting Highlights for June
Thursday, our Grade 12s officially walked our hallways for the very last time. 💙🎓 In a tradition that always brings out the emotions, our graduates made their final “Grad Walk” back through the halls where their journey first began — waving goodbye to students, staff, and the school community that has watched them grow over the years. From little learners to graduates ready for the next chapter, we could not be more proud of this incredible group. Thank you for the leadership, memories, laughter, and spirit you brought to OLS. #OLSGrad2026 #WeAreOLS #CatholicEducation #GradWalk
These lonely hoodies, water bottles, lunch kits, and mystery containers are still waiting for their reunion story. 🥹 Please encourage your child to check the Lost & Found before June 22 — because after that, these items will be packed up and sent off on their own summer adventure.
Tonight we celebrated more than graduation — we celebrated years of growth, friendships, faith, perseverance, and unforgettable memories within the walls of OLS. Watching these students toss their caps into the sky was a reminder that while their time here may be ending, their stories are only just beginning. No matter where life takes them next, they will always be part of the OLS family. #OLSGrad2026 #WeAreOLS #OLSFamily #CatholicEducation #ClassOf2026

Today, Mr. Fox and Mrs. Westlake rolled up their sleeves and helped plant in our new pollinator garden! We are incredibly grateful to the Biosphere Institute of the Bow Valley for partnering with us on this exciting project. This garden will do so much more than support pollinators—it will provide our students with hands-on opportunities to learn, grow, explore, and connect with the natural world right outside our school doors. We can’t wait to watch it flourish and see the learning that blossoms alongside it. Thank you to the Biosphere Institute for helping us create meaningful outdoor learning experiences for our students! #WeAreOLS #OutdoorLearning #PollinatorGarden #LearningOutside #EnvironmentalStewardship @biosphere.institute @pauwfoundation

Today our school community gathered for Adoration with Father Lezano. In the quiet moments of prayer and reflection, students and staff had the opportunity to pause, be present, and spend time with Jesus. We are grateful for these sacred opportunities to grow in faith together and be reminded of God’s presence in our daily lives. ❤️ #WeAreOLS #Adoration #FaithInAction #CatholicEducation #GrowingInFaith
