Today we celebrated Epiphany Mass with Fr. Lezano, who reminded us that the greatest gift we receive is the gift of being present. The Grad Bottle Drive is Saturday 10th January. Grads will be collecting in many neighbourhoods from 9.30 am - 12.30 pm. A night of suspense and stellar performances! Our senior drama class delivered a true whodunnit with Murder on the Menu, performed at the Canmore Opera House. Under the expert direction of Mrs. Toews, students brought intrigue, humour, and drama to life—keeping the audience guessing until the very end. Our 2nd Annual K–4 Christmas Market was a heart-warming success! Lightly used items were thoughtfully regifted in exchange for a donation, spreading joy and teaching generosity and sustainability. A huge shout-out to our junior high students, who did an amazing job organizing the market and beautifully gift-wrapping purchases for our youngest shoppers. Thanks to this incredible teamwork, the event raised $643, which will be donated to a local charity—a true example of Advent in action. #WeAreOLS #SeasonOfGiving #StudentsLeadingTheWay

Our OLS families gathered for an evening of food, fun, and festive creativity. From cookie decorating (freshly baked by our very own Mr. Fox!) to a whole table of make-and-take Christmas crafts, there was something for everyone. A huge shout-out to Mrs. Giannadrea for preparing the most deliciously authentic Italian sauce—it truly made the meal unforgettable. We were also grateful for Wilson, who sold raffle tickets throughout the evening to help support our parish church—thank you for your generosity! Thank you to our amazing School Council and the entire OLS school community for making this event possible.
