He is Risen. Alleluia!
Today we celebrate the first day of the Triduum - a period of 3 days of prayer: Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Vigil. Holy Thursday brings to mind the Lord’s Last Supper with the Apostles. Every minute of this Last Supper reflects both the Majesty of Jesus who knows He is to die the following day, and His love and affection for each and every one of us. What Christ did can be summarized in a few words from St. John: He loved them to the end. Today we are invited to meditate and pray on the love Jesus has for each one of us, and how we respond to it.
