During the teachers Faith Days retreat we celebrated a leader who quietly and consistently lives out the Beatitudes — leading with humility, integrity, compassion, and faith. Mr. Simon’s commitment to Christ-centered education is evident in the way he supports students, encourages staff, and models what it means to serve with heart. Flashlights on, books open, hearts full. Our K–3 classrooms were extra cozy during Flashlight Friday Reading as students curled up with good stories and soft light. We were especially proud of our Grade 2 and 3 students, who showed beautiful leadership by reading to our Kindergarten and Grade 1 friends. There’s something special about older students slowing down, sharing a story, and helping younger readers feel safe, welcomed, and inspired. A simple moment. A shared story. Something new is growing at Our Lady of the Snows! We are thrilled to announce our new Nature-Inspired Kindergarten Program at OLS. We know Canmore families value the outdoors, so we’ve designed a curriculum that offers the “best of both worlds.” What’s New?
