Grade 5 students participated in the 16-week Hopeful Minds curriculum with our Family School Liaison Worker. They learned that building a hopeful mindset translates to all areas of their lives from academics, sports, health, and career. Having a hopeful mindset contributes to building and maintaining resilience over a lifetime. At the end of the curriculum the students were asked to share a message of hope with next year’s Grade 5 students.

You call me Teacher and Lord—and you are right, for that is what I am. So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have set you an example, that you also should do as I have done to you. Very truly, I tell you, servants are not greater than their master.
