Thank you to our Grads and their parents for hosting such an awesome evening and thank you to everyone who came to support them!
CTR and Southland Transportation have made the decision to cancel all buses tomorrow morning and afternoon, Monday, Jan. 15 due to extremely cold temperatures and severe wind chills. Our school will remain open, as many families rely on our facilities. Students and staff driving to school should use extra caution and plan for additional travel time. Please ensure children are dressed appropriately for these extreme conditions CTR will continue to monitor road and weather conditions. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding!

The grade fives spent a festive Wednesday checking out the Rotary Festival of Trees at the Malcolm Hotel. Then they headed over to visit the residents at Origin to spread some Christmas cheer. Thank you Origin at Spring Creek. Merry Christmas!

As we focus on rejoicing, the grade twos bring us joy during their morning prayer for the third week of Advent.
On this third Sunday of Advent, we rejoice, and in addition to two purple candles, we light the pink candle of joy. Joy is all around us (especially at our K-5 Christmas Concert last week!!) and our celebration of Advent calls us to discover it. It is the joy we feel as we approach the birth of our Saviour.
The grade 5 annual field trip to the Banff Springs Hotel is back after a long hiatus. Students went on an historical tour and got to visit the “North Pole”…even Santa showed up! Thank you Fairmont for letting us explore the Castle in the Rockies.
